Hi my name is Victoria Cohen. I am a double major, studying Government and Politics & Communications-PR here at the University of Maryland. This topic is important to me, because we are a nation of immigrants and i believe that we cannot turn away people who are looking for a better life, just like our families were, years ago. Immigrants are beneficial to our country because they want to find work and spend money, stimulating the economy. Immigration reform is necessary beduase we cannot continue with the ways of inefficiently dealing with the immigration issues facing the nation. America needs to be reasonable, smart, and just.
